Heaven, an untethered traveler, moved more than 20 times before she turned 30. As for most wanderers, she felt an unyielding feeling to keep seeking, to keep experiencing, to keep going. That is until 2019, circa pandemic, when she moved to Maui. With the tourist industry suddenly halted, locals experienced deep quiet. At first empty, terrifying even, but then satiating. Soon enough, Heaven learned what it meant to have invaluable time, most of which she spent in the oceans. It seemed for the first time in awhile, everyone had the space to breathe and reflect on the sheer magic running through Maui. Warm community settled in and energetic roots began to grow.

Heaven founded Boundless Breath, a humble occupational therapy practice, based out of her earthly studio located in the heart of Kula. Dedicated to offering a more comprehensive approach to healthcare, she integrated natural therapies into her practice. Heaven delved into the realms of native medicine, encompassing yogic practices, integrative nutrition, and the intricate world of plant and energy medicine. As it typically happens, the connection to Maui became evident. 

From this connected space, SheAKipa was created as a direct channel to give back to the land and oceans that keep us thriving, exploring, and connecting. SheAKipa is an ode to Maui. To keep aloha in our grocery stores, cafe’s and most importantly along our shorelines; remembering this land is only borrowed from our children, grandchildren and our future generations. One day, we will be the ancestors of this piece of Earth, so let’s connect and stay connected. Cause, well, “Our ‘āina, she a kipa!”
